The U.S. Department of Justice says the Pagans are a violent outlaw motorcycle gang, “whose membership distribute cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and PCP.”
The Pagans have an estimated 200 to 250 members among 41 chapters in 11 states, according to the Justice Department.
The Pagans have a violent history on Long Island. A tip from informants that the Pagans were planning to kill several members of rival gang Hell’s Angels for an August 2009 beating of Jason “Roadblock” Blair, the president of the Pagans Long Island chapter, led to arrests that spanned Long Island, New Jersey, Boston and Delaware.
Some of those arrests were made at the House of Tattooing in Rocky Point, which served as the club’s Long Island headquarters and has since closed.
