2 Hurt, 1 Seriously, in Head-On Lindenhurst Crash
BREAKING: It happened early Friday morning. A 19-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries, police say.

Two people were hurt, one seriously, in a head-on crash in Lindenhurst early Friday morning.
According to police, a 19-year-old man was driving a Acrua RDX southbound on North Wellwood Avenue when his vehicle collided with a Ford Explorer traveling northbound on the same road at the intersection of Ithaca Street at 12:15 a.m.
The 19-year-old suffered serious injuries and needed to cut free from his car. The 29-year-old woman who driving the Explorer suffered non-life threatening injuries. They were both taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. Police have not identified either person. The investigation is continuing.
