2 Suffolk Police Officers Hurt In Crash
BREAKING: Two police officers were taken to the hospital Monday morning.
COPIAGUE, NY – Two Suffolk County Police officers were injured in a crash Monday morning in Copiague, police said.
According to police, a marked police car was traveling south on Great Neck Road when it was struck on the passenger side by a Jeep that was turning onto Great Neck Road from Garden Street around 9:25 a.m.
There were two officers, one male and one female, in the car, police said. Both were transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The male driver of Jeep was not injured. Police did not identify any of the people involved in the crash.
