3 Burglaries Reported In Town Of Babylon In 2 Days: PD

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY - Three burglaries were reported within the Town of Babylon earlier this week, according to the Suffolk County Police.

The first incident was reported on Tuesday morning in North Amityville. At about 4:59 a.m. in Russell Court, three men were waiting for the victim as he returned home.

The trio forced him into his apartment and stole his cell phone and keys.

That same day at about 7 a.m., a second burglary was reported in North Babylon. A safe containing money and jewelry was stolen from a home on Foster Boulevard.

On Wednesday, a third burglary was reported in West Babylon. At about 4:30 p.m., a laptop was stolen from a home on Little East Neck Road.

Police said there is no way at this point to say if the three burglaries are connected since they are in three different communities.

For two of them, no one was home so that’s different from the first one. In addition, the second two have no description of the person or people involved.

No arrests have been made.
