5 Injured After Crash, Car Fire Breaks Out In North Amityville
The five people injured were all in one car when the crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - Five people were injured in a two-car crash in North Amityville Wednesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police
Officers responded to the crash involving a 2002 GMC and a 2012 Honda on Sunrise Highway at County Line Road at 2:30 p.m.
The GMC caught fire as a result of the crash.

Five people in one vehicle were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Amityville Fire Department responded to put out the fire. In addition, the Amityville, Massapequa, North Amityville and Copiague fire departments provided ambulances to transport the injured to the hospital.
