6 Caught Selling Alcohol Or Cigarettes To Minors: Police
The six were arrested during an investigation into the sale of alcohol, e-liquid nicotine or cigarettes in the Town of Babylon Friday.

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY - Six people were arrested for selling alcohol, e-liquid nicotine or cigarettes to minors during an inspection in the Town of Babylon on Friday night, according to Suffolk Police.
In response to community complaints officers conducted the investigation into the sale of e-liquid nicotine, cigarettes and alcohol to minors at 15 businesses using underage agents.
According to police, as a result of the investigation the following people were arrested and issued field appearance tickets:

- Muhammad Mian, 66, of Deer Park, an employee of Happy times Smoke Shop on 130 West Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst. Two counts of sale of e-liquid nicotine to a person less than 21.
- Michael Gonzalez, 25, of Amityville, an employee of Dapper Vapor on 411A 40th Street in Lindenhurst. Two counts of sale of e-liquid nicotine to a person less than 21.
- Donna Dawes, 56, of West Babylon, an employee of The Barn on 10 Belmont Avenue in West Babylon. One count of first degree unlawfully dealing with a child.
- Mehmet Akin, 58, of Lindenhurst, an employee at Advance Gas on 687 Rt. 109 in West Babylon. One count of selling alcohol to minors.
- Muhammad Malik, 44, of Deer Park, an employee of Mobil Gas on 380 Commack Road in Deer Park. One count of sale of tobacco products to person less than 21.
- Luthful Kabir, 65, of Bay Shore, an employee of NY Choice Smoke Shop on 1805C Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park. One count of sale of tobacco products to person less than 21.
All six are scheduled for arraignment on June 18.
