Adopt a tree of Hope, sponsored by Adopt A House & Sandy Support Massapequa Style

So many beautiful trees, shrubs, and flowers were damaged during Superstorm Sandy.  We wanted to bring life back into our communities.  Adopt a House and Sandy Support Massapequa Style hosted a 3 hour event on 4/19/14, at Shore Park,  in Lindenhurst for 100 families living in both Nassau & Suffolk affected by Superstorm Sandy. Families chose up to three trees, a shrub, and a flower to bring the outside of their homes back to life.  All trees were small and ready to be planted. With a little love and care from their new adopted family they will grow into beautiful trees to replace those lost with the storm and bring some beauty back to the communities.
