Amityville Man Charged In Connection To Overdose Death: PD
The 25-year-old was arrested on Wednesday after detectives linked him to an overdose death in Nassau County, police say.

PLAINVIEW, NY — An Amityville man was charged on Wednesday in connection with an overdose death in Plainview, according to Nassau County Police. Shaquille Ricks, 25, was arrested around 3:45 p.m. as part of Operation Natalie in Nassau's so-called "War Against Opioids."
Detectives investigating an overdose death led them to Ricks at Pamela Court.
He was found with acetaminophen, hydrocodone and marijuana on him at the time of his arrest, police said.

He was then arrested without incident, police said.
Ricks is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance.
