• Lindenhurst Man Convicted of Manslaughter After 2024 Fatal Crash (longisland.com) — A 24-year-old Lindenhurst man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and related charges after a 2024 high-speed crash on the Southern State Parkway that killed a West Babylon driver and injured four others. He admitted driving about 121 mph while weaving through traffic, and now faces a possible four-to-12-year prison sentence at his October 23, 2026 court date.
