Would you like to make a difference to seniors in your community? Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands Caregiver Support Initiative needs you!
The Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands program is looking for volunteers to join our team! This is an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community by helping a family who is caring for a loved one with dementia.
Volunteers can help out in a variety of different ways such as:

· Friendship
· Enjoy a game or music with an older person

· Take a walk in the park
· Sharing stories
By volunteering just a few hours a week, families are given a much needed break to address personal needs and enjoy some of the things in life that they are no longer able to enjoy. Volunteers provide a family with hope and give them the strength to continue being the valuable caregiver that they are.
The WHHH program will provide volunteers with FREE training in dementia care. Eligible volunteers can also receive a $50 monthly living allowance.
