BLOOD DRIVES TO TAKE PLACE THIS MONTH AT WESTFIELD SUNRISE & SOUTH SHORE DURING IMPORTANT TIME OF YEAR
Drop in Blood Donations during Summer Season; Community Urged to Donate at Shopping Centers
WHAT: With the summer in full swing, both the New York Blood Center and American Red Cross are in need of blood donations. The summer season typically leads to a decline in the number of donors because many people vacation during the summer months and school is out of session. Each organization is reaching out for assistance from the community.
Help save a life and donate blood to the New York Blood Center at Westfield South Shore on Saturday, August 15th and on Friday, August 28th. Those who donate blood at this shopping center on either date will be eligible to receive a pair of New York Mets tickets, while supplies last. Blood donations to the American Red Cross will take place at Westfield Sunrise on Tuesday, August 11th.
