Brutal Assault Reported At Lindenhurst Apartment Building, Victim Seriously Hurt: Police
Victim taken to hospital with serious injuries; First Squad asking public for information.
LINDENHURST, NY — Suffolk County police are investigating an assault that seriously injured a 27-year-old man at a Lindenhurst apartment building Tuesday evening, police said.
The incident occurred on North Putman Avenue on Feb. 17 at around 6:05 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. No additional details about the circumstances of the assault or possible suspects were immediately available.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
