Event Details
On October 9, Babayaga’s Trail of Terror is opening for its 7th season with The Smile Factory.
You've been told to take care of your teeth. You've been told to visit your dentist. You've been told there's nothing to be afraid of.
They lied.
Deep inside the Smile Factory, the dentist has perfected his craft. Every tooth. Every smile. Every patient.
But there's just one little problem…
He doesn't know when to stop.
The drills never stop. The lights never go out. And once you're in his chair, he's determined to give you the perfect smile — whether you want one or not.
So open wide…VERY wide.
Your appointment is about to begin.
At the smile factory, every patient leaves with a smile.
Even if it's the last thing they do.
Founded and run by Andrew and Melissa Iacona, Babayaga’s Trail of Terror has been operating since October of 2020. After the devastating wave of COVID, and the loss of jobs in the aftermath, the couple wanted to create a fun but safe way for people to enjoy the Halloween season while also helping the community. They opened up their backyard haunt, asking only for one non-perishable/paper good to donate to families in need.
What they thought would be a one-time deal turned into a Lindenhurst staple and has been successfully running ever since. Through their efforts, Andrew and Melissa Iacona have collected and donated over three thousand pounds of food for places like Long Island Cares, Long Island Harvest, and most recently a church food pantry.
This year, in honor of America’s 250th birthday, the food they collect will go to local military/veteran groups that are in need. These groups are near and dear to their hearts as their family members have served their country.
All actors involved are volunteers and this year the haunt will be open every Friday and Saturday starting October 9th.
