Car Flips Over Man's Head in 4-Car Lindenhurst Crash

From Suffolk County Police:

Four-Vehicle Crash: 6/25 @ 11:42: A 2000 Ford GMC (car #1) was parked facing NB on Wellwood (just north of Bristol Street) when a 1998 Mitsubishi (car #2) that was traveling NB on Wellwood struck the left rear corner of the Ford (car#1) that caused the Ford to flip and crash into a 2002 Jeep (#3) that was traveling SB on Wellwood. The Ford was pushed into a parked 2008 Nissan (#4). (The male driver of the parked Ford (car #1) was outside his vehicle getting an item out of his car when the Mitsubishi (car#2) struck the Ford and Ford flipped over the owner’s head.) The male drivers of the Ford and Mitsubishi (cars #1 and #2) were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. No known injuries to the male drivers of the Jeep and Nissan (cars #3 and #4). There were no passengers in any of the vehicles. No tickets were issued.
