28th ANNUAL MEETING

Monday, June 20, 2016, 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

WHO: The Long Island Housing Partnership (LIHP) has been working tirelessly for more than 28 years to address the critical need for affordable housing on Long Island. The LIHP’s Annual Meeting will celebrate 28 years of success, while also recognizing that there is more that needs to be accomplished. Joining the Long Island Housing Partnership in this endeavor is James S. Rubin, Commissioner and CEO of New York State Homes and Community Renewal, (HCR) who will be the keynote speaker at the LIHP’s Annual Meeting.

WHAT: LIHP and NYS Homes and Community Renewal have worked together to address the need for affordable housing for Long Island. Commissioner Rubin is committed to building on HCR’s great heritage by fostering the creation and preservation of affordable housing, working to revitalize neighborhoods and communities, administering the state’s strongest tenant protection laws to date, and promoting fair housing opportunity for all New Yorkers.
