Daniel Street Students Meet Darlene Graham
For more than 20 years, Darlene Graham has shared her family music with audiences throughout the United States and Canada.
From Lindenhurst Unified Free School District: Kindergarten students at Daniel Street Elementary School in the Lindenhurst Union Free School District recently enjoyed a visit from Darlene Graham and the Shades of Green Band.
For more than 20 years, Darlene Graham has shared her family music with audiences throughout the United States and Canada. The performer and former elementary school music teacher engaged students through song, dance and audience participation. Students danced to the music which incorporated children’s literature such as Eric Carle’s “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and “Leave me Alone: A Tale of What Happens When You Stand Up to a Bully” written by Kes Gray and Lee Wildish.
