Driver Hurt After Car Flips Several Times, Strikes 3 Other Vehicles In Lindenhurst
A witness says the driver was going at least 80 mph.

LINDENHURST, NY – A man was injured in a crash in Lindenhurst Friday night, police said.
The driver of a sedan was traveling southbound on S. Wellwood Avenue when he lost control, struck a divider and three other vehicles near Montauk Highway at about 9:20 p.m. The man's car overturned, police said.
Lindenhurst firefighters rescued the driver, who was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Lindenhurst resident Charlene Holm Licht was walking her dog with her husband when the sedan drove by.
"He was doing at least 80, hit the big boulder in the center and flipped several times," she said. "It took them about a half hour to get him out."
