ICYMI: Storm Leaves Flooded Roads In Lindenhurst

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in Lindenhurst Patch:

LINDENHURST, NY — Lindenhurst residents are still experiencing flooding following a nor'easter that hit Long Island Thursday night. A coastal flood warning was in effect from 5 p.m. until midnight for southern Nassau County and southwestern Suffolk County.

The storm caused property damage, widespread flooding of vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline, and 2-3 feet of inundation above ground level in low-lying, vulnerable areas. Winds also hit 50 mph.

On Friday morning, some Lindenhurst residents had their morning made a little difficult thanks to street flooding still affecting the area.
