James W. Trestrail, age 64, former Lindenhurst Resident, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, December 17th in Southold, NY. James attended the Lindenhurst H.S. Annex until 1967 & was a member of the U.S. Armed Services from 1967 - 1970, and served a tour in Viet Nam from 1968 - 1969. He recently returned to Lindenhurst Village to spend a week at his childhood home on New York Ave. in August with his sister, Linda McParland, class of 1968. Burial is on Monday, December 23rd at Calverton National Cemetery with full military honors and a slow salute for his services to our country. He will be missed very much.
