Lindenhurst is 9th Luckiest Town in New York, Website Says

Have you ever wondered which Long Island towns have the best luck when it comes to winning the lotto?

Well, even if you haven’t, RoadSnacks says it has figured it out. The “infotainment” website says it has determined the luckiest towns in New York based on population numbers and winning New York Lottery results. Four Long Island towns made the list of the 10 luckiest in New York, including Lindenhurst at No. 9.

“In June of 2011, a group of 20 New York Costco employees purchased some tickets at a Lindenhurst Maulik & Chandni stationery store, and one of them was a $201,000 winning Powerball number,” RoadSnacks writes about Lindenhurst, where there have been 50 lotto winners of more than $25,000 over the last 10 years.

2. Farmingdale
3. Webster
4. Depew
5. Middletown
6. New Windsor
7. Wappingers Falls
8. Pelham
9. Lindenhurst
10. Westbury
