Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored at the Breakfast for Champions celebration coordinated by middle school educator Courtney Whalley on Dec. 16.
Held at the Lindencrest Diner, the breakfast, now in its 17th year, honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publically in front of proud parents, teachers and peers.
With proud parents and teachers looking on, students received their certificates of Merit from Principal Frank Naccarato who told them how they each exemplify “Lindy Pride” and allow their teachers and parents to feel that pride as well.
