Lindenhurst HS Hosting Fundraiser For Wreaths Across America
The school's art honor society is looking orders to sponsor a wreath for a fallen soldier. The deadline is next week.
LINDENHURST, NY - For the fifth year in a row, the Lindenhurst High School National Art Honor Society is hosting a fundraiser to donate for Wreaths Across America. Residents can purchase a wreath that can be sponsored for $15 and will be designated to a fallen soldier.
The wreaths will then be placed on the graves of fall soldiers at the Long Island National Cemetery on Wellwood Avenue. Orders will be taken until Nov. 15.
On Dec. 14, National Wreaths Across America Day, the members of the class will taking the sponsored wreaths to the cemetery along with several volunteers throughout the country.

All orders can be made through www.WreathsAcrossAmerica.org.
The following ID numbers are required on each order so that the wreaths will be delivered to the Long Island National Cemetery.

Last year, 220 wreaths were sponsored. The students are hoping to surpass that this year.
