LINDNHURST INTERACT CLUB IS PARTICIPATING IN THE
ANNUAL TOWN OF BABYLON GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY
They are collecting new or gently used jeans for homeless teens.
Clothing retailer Aeropostale accepts the donated jeans and distributes them to local homeless shelters.
WHERE: LHS Rotunda
WHEN: May 12th through 16th
“Global Youth Service Day” is the largest service event in the world, according to the Youth Service America website.
These students are trying to make a positive difference in their community. Won't you please help? HS students can bring the jeans to school and deposit them in the bins in the Rotunda.
Anyone else who has jeans to donate, please contact Jackie at 226-2133 and arrangements will be made.
