Lindenhurst Students Honored During Breakfast for Champions
The monthly event was coordinated by middle school educator Kathleen Curran and held on Nov. 28 at the Lindencrest Diner.

Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored recently during the Breakfast for Champions celebration. The monthly event was coordinated by middle school educator Kathleen Curran and held on Nov. 28 at the Lindencrest Diner.
Now in its 20th year, the breakfast honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publicly with certificates of merit in front of proud parents, teachers and peers. This month’s celebration was attended by Harding Avenue Elementary School Principal Brian Chamberlin who said, “We knew that we had special students when we saw you at the elementary level, but it is nice to see how you continued to flourish at the secondary level.”
