Lindenhurst Resident Earns Eagle Scout Rank

From the Village of Lindenhurst: Greyson Sladic has earned the highest award from the Boy Scouts of America, the rank of Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project, Greyson led a team of scouts in the installation of a park bench, brick work and landscaping at Weckerle Park.

Greyson receive the Eagle Scout award at his Court of Honor Ceremony held recently at Our Lady of Grace. Deputy Mayor Weckerle said, “It’s such a great occasion to honor the young members of our community, like Greyson, that are dedicated to making the Village of Lindenhurst a great place!”
