The parade began at the high school and made its way down Wellwood Avenue ending at Lindenhurst Middle School. Each car represented a different cereal. The freshman class float reflected “Cinnamon Toast Crunch,” the sophomore class depicted “Fruity Pebbles” and the junior and senior classes portrayed “Captain Crunch” and “Lucky Charms,” respectively.
