Lindy Cares offered a Holiday Raffle basket donated by LyLy Rockwell this past month at the Spirit of the Community event. A Lindy Cares volunteer pulled the winning ticket, and Tricia O., Lindy Cares Project Coordinator, cheered, "we were so excited to see that Mildred won the raffle prize, she said. These ladies are always ready to pitch in and lend a hand to raise funds, distribute hot cocoa or host a theme party for young people in our community, so its good to see them take home the prize.
Lindy Cares will use the proceeds from the sales to purchase gift cards for Mc Donalds or movie trips for adolescents spending the holidays in treatment this year.
The board, staff, and members of Lindy Cares thanks everyone who purchased a ticket and our generous donors for helping to make the holidays brighter this year.
