Local Coalition Hosts 2018 Spirit Of The Community Meeting

Lindenhurst Community Cares Coalition held a meeting to bring together the local community.

LINDENHURST, NY - From The Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst: Lindenhurst Community Cares Coalition held a “Spirit of the Community Meeting” at the Lindenhurst High School. The intent of the meeting is to bring together government officials, non-profit organizations, corporations and service-minded leaders to discuss the contributions made by our community members to achieve the goals set forth by the Lindenhurst Community Cares Coalition. Many of the Lindenhurst community leaders, including Mayor Michael Lavorata and Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle, were in attendance at the gathering and reported on the many activities and positive changes going on in the Village of Lindenhurst. Mayor Lavorata praised so many of our Lindenhurst residents, including members of the Lindenhurst Community Cares Coalition, that have been working together to help battle the drug epidemic.
