Local Family Homeless, Can the Community Lend A Helping Hand?

A Copiague Mom Janet and her 12 year old daughter Charley lost all they had in Super Storm Sandy. Janet, cannot find work and is currently on disability because she is in remission from Cancer. Janet and Charley were living in hotels, moving from one to another, but are now living in an emergency homeless shelter in Ronkonkoma. Janet and Charley have no family only each other and Janet would like to give her daughter a stable environment - she just needs a little help. The community can help get Janet back on her feet, help Janet concentrate on getting healthy and strong while providing Charley a warm, safe place to live.
