Man Arrested After Robbing Lindenhurst Domino's: Police

The incident occurred Friday night, police say.

A Copiague man is charged with robbery after he hopped over the counter at a Lindenhurst Domino’s and stole money out of the register, police said.

The incident occurred at 11 p.m. Friday at the restaurant located at 111 W. Sunrise Highway, police said.

The alleged robber, Jonathan Gittens, 47, was held by an employee at Domino’s until police arrived, police said.

Gittens is charged with one count of third degree robbery. He was arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday and is being held on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond. He is due back in court on Tuesday.
