Man Assaulted, Robbed By Acquaintance In North Amityville: Cops

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - A man was reportedly robbed and assaulted by an acquaintance in North Amityville on Tuesday night, according to Suffolk Police.

At about 7:15 p.m., officers responded to Emerald Lane South after one man punched another man and stole cash.

According to police, both men "were known to each other," but the exact nature of their relationship was not disclosed.

No description of the robber was available.
