Man Assaulted, Robbed By Duo While Checking Tire Pressure: PD

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - A man was assaulted and robbed by a duo in North Amityville this week, according to Suffolk Police.

On Monday, Aug. 26, the man pulled over on Great Neck Road at about 12:30 a.m. to check his tire pressure. He was then approached by two men who hit him with a bat, police said.

The duo then stole his money and watch before fleeing.

The man then transported himself to Good Samaritan Medical Hospital in West Islip. He suffered from non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. No description was available.
