Man Driving Stolen Car Had 65 License Suspensions: SCPD

Officers pulled over the man who was driving a car previously reported stolen, police said.

WEST BABYLON, NY - A North Lindenhurst man for driving a stolen car with more than 65 license suspensions in West Babylon on Friday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

Oscar Ronquillo, 25, was driving a 2005 Honda in the area of Fulton Street, near Schenectady Avenue, on 10:35 a.m. that had previously been reported as stolen, police said.

Officers initiated a traffic stop and a check of Ronquillo’s license revealed it had been suspended 65 times on 10 dates, police said.

He was charged with first degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle as well as unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Ronquilo was scheduled for arraignment at a later date.
