Man Robbed At Knifepoint While Trying To Sell Xbox On Letgo App
The robber became angry when he discovered the console was not new, so he proceeded to steal it and flee, police say.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - A man selling a gaming console on the Letgo app was robbed at knifepoint in North Amityville this past weekend, according to Suffolk Police.
The incident was reported on Sunday at 3:41 p.m. on E. Smith Street.
The proposed buyer and the seller had an agreement to sell an Xbox One on the app.

The man who wanted to buy the item then got mad that the Xbox wasn’t brand new and displayed a knife.
He then proceeded to steal the Xbox and flee.
