Man Shot While Driving Down Sunrise Highway
The 24-year-old was seriously injured in the shooting on Sunday afternoon.

LINDENHURST, NY - A 24-year-old man was hospitalized after he was shot while driving down Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst on Sunday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
The man was driving a Buick sedan eastbound the highway, near Straight Path, when he was shot.
He pulled over his vehicle and his passenger called 911 at 2:04 p.m.

The man was then transported to a hospital in serious condition. His passenger was not injured.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
