Man Tries to Rob Deer Park Bank
The teller did not comply with the man's demands Saturday afternoon, police say.

A would-be bank robber left empty-handed after a Deer Park bank teller refused to hand over any cash Saturday afternoon.
According to police, aman entered the TD Bank, located at 2178 Deer Park Avenue, at about 2:55 p.m., and handed a teller a note demanding cash.
The teller did not comply with the man’s demands and the man then fled southbound on Deer Park Avenue, police said.

The man is described as white or Hispanic, approximately 20-25 years-old, clean shaven with a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, red sweatshirt and blue jeans.
