Nearby: Wyandanch Teen Shot to Death

Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Wyandanch early Sunday.

According to police, Eric Meade, 18, of 70 South 26th St., was standing in his front yard with a group of people when he was shot in the head at about 1:20 a.m.

Relatives transported Meade to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical enter in West Islip where he was pronounced dead, police said.
