New Eagle Scout Helps Enhance Local Park

Kevin Winston helped install more than a dozen birdhouses to attract birds to park

Town of Babylon Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez recently joined with Town Councilman Tom Donnelly to honor Kevin Winston, of Lindenhurst, on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. A Court of Honor ceremony was held for Kevin at VFW Wade-Burns Post 7279 on Delaware Avenue in Lindenhurst. The Eagle Scout is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts organization. For his project, Kevin supervised the construction of 14 assorted birdhouses that were installed at Fireman’s Park as well as the Rainbow Senior Center.

Deputy Supervisor Martinez and Councilman Donnelly congratulated Kevin on his achievement and presented him with an official Town proclamation.
