Pair Arrested After Robbing Copiague Deli: Police

Two men were arrested a day after they robbed a Copiague deli, police said.

Aveonte Percey, 19, of North Amityville, and Kymel Sims, 19, North Amityville, entered Figueroa Deli at 1708 Sunrise Highway on Friday at 1:50 a.m., struck a man in the face and took cash.

They were both arrested on Saturday and charged with second degree robbery. They were arraigned on Sunday. Percey is being held on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Sims is being held on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
