Pair Charged In Jewelry Store Gunpoint Robbery: Police
The two were caught after a 911 reported a "suspicious man" entering a car near the Long Island store, police say.

COPIAGUE, NY - Two men were charged with robbing a Copiauge jewelry store on Monday, according to Suffolk Police.
Cody Costa, 23, of Copiague entered Nathan Jewelry on 854 Montauk Highway, on December 11 at 3 p.m., displayed a knife and what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash from an employee, police said.
The employee complied and Costa fled on foot.

A short time later, a 911 caller reported she saw a suspicious man, who had his face covered, enter a red car being driven by another man, in a parking lot near the jewelry store, police said.
The description of the suspicious person matched the description of the robber, police said.

The descriptions of the suspect and vehicle were broadcast over the police radio and local officers stopped the car at the corner of Great Neck Road and Scudder Avenue at 3:12 p.m., police said.
The officers then arrested Costa and the driver, Seth Marion, 56, of Lindenhurst, police said.
First Squad detectives charged both men with first degree robbery.
