Police Release Photos of Man Wanted in Bank Robberies
Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed two banks and tried to rob another recently.
Police say the man pictured above entered People’s United Bank, located at 182 East Main Street in Huntington, on July 14 at 11:51 a.m. and made multiple verbal demands for money; however, the teller did not comply and the man fled the bank.
Twenty-five minutes later, the same man entered TD Bank, located at 2178 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park and made a verbal demand for money from a teller. The teller complied with the man’s demands and the man fled on foot southbound on Deer Park Avenue.

A week earlier on July 7, the same man entered TD Bank, located at 2025 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale, and verbally demanded cash from the teller. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his 40s, approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 with a medium build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
