UPDATE: Man Shot During Suffolk County Home Invasion
Three armed men broke into the home Monday evening, police say.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY – Three men armed with handguns invaded a Suffolk County home Monday evening and shot a resident, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, the men entered a home in the unit block of Madison Avenue in North Amityville at about 5:05 p.m. and shot a 26-year-old male resident in his stomach.
The men then fled the scene with unknown proceeds from the home, police said. The man who was shot, whom police have not named, was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
