Police: Woman Who Stole Engagement Rings From Deer Park Store Arrested
The 29-year-old is also accused of stealing jewelry from an Oakdale store.

Police say they have caught the woman who stole four white gold engagement rings, valued at more than $6,000, from a Deer Park store in June.
Joanna Martinez, 29, was arrested Tuesday and charged with third degree grand larceny and fourth degree grand larceny.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers issued a Crime Alert in July, asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who entered Jenna’s Jewelers, located at 2116 Deer Park Avenue Deer Park on June 13 and stole four engagement rings. First Squad detective Thomas Corso followed up on multiple tips given to Crime Stoppers and identified the suspect as Martinez, police said.
