Recognizing Lindenhurst’s Athletic Elite

From Lindenhurst Schools:Every year, the varsity athletes and coaches of Lindenhurst High School are honored during its athletic awards banquet at the Melville Marriott. This year, the June 7 banquet showcased a tremendous pool of talented athletes and the coaches who guide them.

Coordinated by the Varsity Club advisers, Janine Cheskay and Michael Cheskay, and the district’s athletic department, the evening recognizes their effort, dedication ;and achievements. The banquet began with the grand procession of the Most Valuable Players for each team. Outstanding athletes were chosen for the Lindenhurst Hall of Fame and the Gold Key awards. Individual scholarships and recognition were presented to players throughout the evening.
