Safety Improvement Made To Lindenhurst Village Court
Officials recently made safety improvements to the court as well as village hall.

LINDENHURST, NY - Lindenhurst Village officials recently added safety measures to the court house and village hall.
A metal detector was installed at the court house. The detector cost a total of $4,200.
According to Village Administator Douglas Madlon, in addition to the metal detector additional surveillance cameras were installed and outside lighting improvements to the court room and around village hall on 430 S Wellwood Avenue.

The improvements were paid with a $27,394 Grant from the New York State Justice Court Assistance Program.
Madlon said that the improvements in security to village court were made to try and keep employees and visitors safe.
