EAC Network inducts new member of Board of Directors

Hempstead, NY, September 30, 2016 – EAC Network is pleased to announce Samuel Chu, Chief Innovation Officer at Enerlogic LLC, is the newest member of the human service agency’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Chu, a Lindenhurst resident, has a long history of working to improve the Long Island community. He is a proven leader in marketing next generation energy solutions within the clean-tech market, which helps Long Island residents increase residential energy efficiency. He previously served as Deputy County Executive for Operations under the Suffolk County Executive’s Office from 2013 to 2015, where he oversaw the commissioners of the Department of Social Services, Department of Probation, and Department of Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services. Most notably, Mr. Chu founded the Town of Babylon’s Long Island Green Homes Program in 2007, which was the first property assessed clean energy program (PACE) ever implemented in the United States.

“The Board of Directors and I are excited to have Mr. Chu join us in our mission to meet the needs of individuals through human services,” said Lance W. Elder, President & CEO, EAC Network. “Mr. Chu has an exceptional background in improving lives in our community. We look forward to all we can accomplish with him on our team.”
