Search Party Scheduled In Lindenhurst For Missing LI Man

LINDENHURST, NY - The friends and family of a missing Centereach man have scheduled a search party in Lindenhurst this week.

Thomas Kelsey, 45, of Barbara Drive, was reported missing last week by an acquaintance. He was last spotted leaving Venetian Shores Park on 850 Venetian Boulevard on July 7 at 10 p.m.

He was driving his red 2015 GMC Yukon, New York state license plate EYE 9312.

The search party is planned for Friday starting at 6 p.m. at Katch in Venetian Shores.

"Whoever that lives on the surrounding blocks or knows someone who does, please have their security cameras checked, and look for Tom’s red Yukon XL," Kelsey's friend Dina wrote on the Facebook event for the search party. "We need to find out which route he took and if there was anyone following him. If we all work together and check the surrounding areas as a team, we have a better chance of finding answers."
