UPDATE: Missing Lindenhurst Man Found

The 33-year-old has autism and suffers from schizophrenia.

The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Lindenhurst man who has autism and suffers from schizophrenia.

Anthony Ancona, 33, was last seen leaving his home at 112 S. 9th Street in Lindenhurst at about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. He left on foot north on S. 9th Street heading toward Hoffman Avenue, police said.

Ancona is described as white, 5-foot-6 and approximately 165 pounds. He has short red hair, brown eyes and he currently has a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, gray sweatpants, and gray sneakers.
