St. Baldrick's Fundraiser at The Nutty Irishman, Farmingdale
Join us for a St. Baldrick's Fundraiser at The Nutty Irishman, Farmingdale on Sunday, March 6th, 2016!

The staff of the Nutty Irishman of Farmingdale would like to invite you to make a “bald” statement at The Nutty Irishman of Farmingdale on Sunday March 6th 2016 from 12pm-7pm. You too, can be a participant in helping us fight the number one disease that causes death of children in the U.S. and Canada. Every year, thousands of men, women, and children have joined the St. Baldrick’s Foundation by giving up their locks to support childhood cancer research.
Last year we were able to contribute almost $50,000 to this wonderful cause and had almost 1000 attendees between shaves, volunteers and participants. Sunday March 6th, 2016 will be our sixth annual event, and our goal is to raise over $50,000 this year. There will be a chinese auction, children’s activities, special appearances by Olaf and Elmo, balloon twisting, face painting, drink specials, a DJ, and of course, the main event; head shaving on the main stage. The event will begin at noon and continues until seven pm. There is a $5 suggested donation at the door. This event is open to the public, children and families.
St. Baldrick’s events have raised approximately $118 million, providing research grants to doctors and scientists at more than 200 institutions to pursue the most promising new cures for childhood cancer, in addition to making clinical trials available to more children than ever. Since 2000, St. Baldrick’s has hosted more than 4,200 head-shaving events, shaving more than 190,000 heads in 28 countries and 50 U.S. states. Think about this staggering fact: one out of every five children diagnosed with cancer will not survive – that’s one child too many. Join us in our efforts to find a cure.
