Suffolk Hurricanes move into first place!
The Suffolk Hurricanes moved into first place in the NJBL Central division with a double header sweep of the Northport (NY) Eagles @ Zahn's park this past saturday. The Hurricanes won the first game 6-5 in a close match that saw the lead change 4 times. The Canes' played magnificently in the second game to win in resounding manner by the score of 12-3. The Suffolk Hurricanes, based in Lindenhurst, have now won 8 straight, and 9 out of the last 10 games they have played. The schedule continues this saturday with an away double header in Huntington starting @ 10am.
